Born a Conqueror: Protecting Your Peace and Walking with Purpose
Life is a journey of constant observation and discernment. To grow, you have to analyze and truly know your surroundings. That means recognizing the difference between a real man or woman and those who only wear the mask of one. It also means learning to tell the difference between an act of God — rooted in worship and truth — and an act of an evildoer, because elevation can come from both sides. The question is: which one are you aligning with?
It all begins in the mind. Your primary and secondary thoughts shape your reality. What you allow to live in your head will eventually take root in your life. That’s why defining peace is so important. Ask yourself: What’s my definition of peace? Where do I go to find it? What side of the fence is my peace on? Real peace isn’t conditional. It should be present everywhere you go, in everything you do, in what you see, hear, and even feel.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 17:17 that “a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” That love isn’t just words — it’s action. What are you willing to do for the people you love? Are you willing to be patient, to wait until they’re steady? Are you willing to pick up their slack when life gets heavy, while still carrying your own? That’s what true love and loyalty require.
At the same time, stop giving everything away at once — your money, your relationships, your energy, even your body and soul. Protect what God gave you. Seek Him first, and everything else will come in its proper time.
At the end of the day, you weren’t created to be average or defeated. You were born to be a conqueror. Walk in that truth — with wisdom, discipline, and a peace that cannot be shaken.
