The Word of God Is Transforming: New Mercy Every Morning
βIt is of the Lordβs mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.β β Lamentations 3:22-23
Every morning, God performs a divine deposit that no bank could ever match. Imagine if you could empty your account every night and wake up with it fully refilled β thatβs exactly what God does with mercy. Not recycled mercy. New mercy. Fresh grace that fits your situation.
Mercy That Meets You Where You Are
God has mercy that suits your case (Jeremiah 20). He knows your situation, your heart, your thoughts β and still chooses to refill you daily. That means when you wake up, youβre not living off yesterdayβs leftovers; youβre living off todayβs renewal.
He gives you enough mercy to stand again, to speak again, and to walk again in purpose.
Answer the Call Like Jeremiah
When God calls your name β when He puts that touch on your spirit β your only job is to follow. Donβt hesitate, donβt question, donβt let the noise of the world drown out His word.
Jeremiah was called to prophesy to a people who didnβt always listen. Some laughed, others ignored him β but he kept going. Because obedience to God will always outweigh the opinions of man.
Donβt let the world have you questioning your calling or doubting the Word thatβs been spoken over you. When youβre truly sourced by God, His Word becomes impossible to overlook.
God Will Move You to Align You
Sometimes God has to shift your surroundings β not to punish you, but to position you. Heβll take you through storms, through cities, through seasons just to align you with His divine purpose.
Heβs not breaking you down; Heβs building you up for whatβs next. You have to want Him like you want success, love, peace, or anything else you chase. Because when Heβs your source, everything else finds its rightful place.
Surrender to His Will
We canβt outrun His will or escape His wrath. The only way through is surrender β not just for your sake, but for His glory. Heβs still God, even when it feels like Heβs silent.
When you feel alone, open His Word. Keep His promises close to your heart. He may allow you to be tested, but He will never allow you to be consumed.
If He brought you to it, Heβll bring you through it.
When the World Turns Away
What will your response be when the world drifts away from His Word? When people twist truth for comfort? Remember β Heβs slow to anger, and His grace lasts longer than your guilt. Stop hiding from Him. Lay it all at His feet.
He already knows. He just wants your honesty, your accountability, your surrender.
You need hope for your heart and prayer for your tomorrow. Because every sunrise comes with new mercy.
The Nine Mercies of God
- Godβs Love: He loves you personally and eternally.
- Godβs Goodness: His character is pure kindness.
- Godβs Kindness: He gives when you donβt deserve it.
- Godβs Benevolence: His nature is to bless and to care.
- Godβs Attachment: You are His β permanently.
- Godβs Grace: Undeserved favor, still freely given.
- Godβs Affection: Heβs tender toward His children.
- Godβs Tenderness: When you hurt, He rushes to rescue.
- Godβs Caritas: His overflowing, compassionate love never dries up.
In What Ways Has He Kept You?
He didnβt let you vanish.
He didnβt put you away.
He didnβt let your trials erase you.
He didnβt let your pain destroy you.
He let you burn β but not burn up.
That fire was for your refining, not your ending. He removes the old to reveal the new.
And youβre still alive because Heβs not finished. Eternal death couldnβt touch you because mercy stood guard.
Remember This
- He rose early Sunday morning with all power.
- You see a battle; God sees a victory.
- The wages of sin are death, but mercy says, βNot today.β
- If you woke up, then youβve got new mercy today.
- When you hear His Word, listen β because one day, Heβll return in judgment, and you want to be found ready.
- You donβt belong to this world.
- The Lord is attached to you β and just like a tick, the devil canβt remove whatβs sealed by God.
